City Hotel Rembrandt - Terms and conditions
- All instructions from hotel staff regarding the house rules must be followed. Complaints can be reported to management.
- The use of public areas and corridors within City Hotel Rembrandt is permitted, but is at your own risk.
- All guests must show valid physical proof of identity. Failure to do so may result in refusal of check-in without the right to a refund.
- Children must be supervised by parents or guardians at all times in public areas.
- In accordance with the Dutch Licensing and Catering Act, alcoholic beverages will not be served to guests under the age of 18. Staff may ask for proof of identity if there is any doubt about age.
- Food and drinks left in a checked-out room will be thrown away.
- It is strictly forbidden to receive guests in rooms for sexual activities in exchange for payment.
- The number of people in a room may not exceed the number reserved. All guests must register and identify themselves at the reception desk.
- Decorations such as confetti are not permitted. Please ask at reception which decorations are permitted.
- For fire safety reasons, it is prohibited to use candles, incense or other open flames in the rooms. Activating the fire alarm is not permitted.
- Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
- The minimum age for check-in is 21 years.
Liability
- Hotel management and staff are not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
- Guests are encouraged to use the safes in the rooms for extra security.
- City Hotel Rembrandt reserves the right to enter a room if deemed necessary.
CCTV
- Security cameras are installed in and around the hotel. By staying at the hotel, you consent to being recorded. Recordings may be provided to authorities in the event of emergencies or incidents.
- The hotel complies with privacy regulations and uses camera surveillance exclusively for the safety of guests and staff.
- Employees will only enter guest rooms with permission, except in emergencies or if there is suspicion of a violation of the house rules.
Smoking
- Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited throughout the hotel.
- Smoking in rooms or public areas will result in a fine of €150.00.
Noise nuisance
- In order to maintain a peaceful environment, causing noise nuisance is not permitted.
Lost property
- Lost property will be kept for a maximum of 14 days. Guests can contact reception for assistance.
Hotel property
- Hotel property may not be taken outside the premises. In the event of deliberate damage or theft, liability for repair or replacement costs may be imposed.
- Guests are responsible for their own property. The hotel is not liable for loss, theft or damage. Parking near the hotel is at your own risk.
Check-in
- Valid identification must be presented at check-in. The minimum age for check-in is 21 years.
Fire safety
- Fire instructions are available in every room.
- Leave the building immediately in the event of a fire alarm. Follow the instructions of the staff in case of emergency.
Emergency exits
- Emergency exits are clearly marked and equipped with emergency lighting. These exits may only be used in emergencies and not as regular entrances or exits.
Respectful behaviour
- Unwanted intimacy or any form of harassment will not be tolerated.
- Respectful behaviour towards staff and guests is expected. Sexual harassment will be reported to the authorities.
- Violence or threats of violence are strictly prohibited.
Narcotics
- The use, possession or trafficking of drugs, including nitrous oxide, is prohibited. Violators will be reported to the police and may be removed from the hotel without refund.
- Guests who are clearly under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused check-in or asked to leave without refund.
Zero Tolerance Policy
- City Hotel Rembrandt has a zero tolerance policy. If you violate the house rules, you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately without warning. No refund will be given and any deposit will be retained.
- By checking in, you agree to all house rules. In situations not covered by these rules, the management of City Hotel Rembrandt will decide.
